I have always wondered about the atmospheres in different planets and this curiosity led me to dive deep into so many facts about the universe that I couldn’t stop myself from writing this article. Planets and their Atmosphere
As much as the universe is special, its elements are super special, with millions of stars, galaxies, and planets, let’s explore what our beloved planets carry with themselves.
Venus
This yellow white planet carries a whole bundle of clouds that are made up of Sulphur Dioxide and Carbon Dioxide and give out a formation of Opaque Cloud Sheets.
Mars
Mars tends to float the clouds that are made up of water and ice. It lets them glide on the level surface. Forming a thin scattered cloud similar to Cirrocumulus.
Neptune and Uranus
No, they’re not brothers or sisters as such. But yes! they do share a common gas that is Methane and the clouds are born through the same gas. And their formation is highly wispy.
Jupiter and Saturn
Multicolored cloud bands can be seen on these both planets. Due to large velocity, turbulent whirlpools are created and the most notable Jupiter’s Great Red Spot is the outcome of such eddies. The bright zones are the clouds in the cold upper atmosphere and colorful bands correspond to warm lower atmosphere.
